House/Garage Conversion Part 5

Hi There These are the pictures of the final stages in the house/garage conversion. I put a new front on the house and cut out windows for the showroom and the workshop, these were then glazed with acrylic sheet. On top of the building i have constructed a car park, this can only be reached by means of the lift

This is a view of the car park from above, as you can see it is already a popular place to leave a vehicle, at the moment most of the vehicles appear to belong to the sporting fraternity, this is because my grandson has a fondness, no an obsession with powerful cars and knows all the technical details about them.

The garage has now been officially named and opened

The small garage on the end of the building is to enable the garage owners to park their own private vehicles.

House/garage conversion part 4

Hi There

This is the continuing saga of the house/garage. My computer learning has had to take a back seat for a few weeks, this is because the garden began to grow, as they do, and i had to subdue it before it turned into a jungle, this of course means my computing skills, such as they were, have returned to zero. so far i have managed to lose all my typing, plus all the pictures i had uploaded

This is how i solved the problem of lifting the cage up and down the liftshaft, the corks on the winding handle provide friction to hold the cage in any position in the shaft

The interior of the building has now been finished off,a carpet has been fitted to the upstairs living quarters, and floor tiles have been added to the small room downstairs.
