Car Track

Hi In March 2007 my car mad youngest grandson rang me two weeks before
his birthday to inform me that he did not want anything bought, but i could make him a car track where he could use his ever expanding car collection. I managed to make it in time and it has given him ( and me ) much pleasure ever since.

I hope you both have many hours of fun playing now it is finished (and there are not many crashes causing damage..)

welcome to the blogosphere! Love the name of your blog :)

I would have loved that car treack when I was a wee lass......had a huge collection of cars: Dinkies, Matchbox, Corgis, Batmobile, you name it.....plus a huge box of Lego - a tomboy :)

happy blogging and looking forward to seeing more of your lovely stuff
love to you and the missusmog

Neat! I bet my boys would love something like that. I will have to talk to my dad and show him pictures so he can make one.

I'd love to hear more about how you go about building your car tracks... they look far more interesting than the commercial sorts of tracks!

Hope you have fun here in blogland. May you find many good people and friends out here!

Regards to the missus!

Your car track reminds me so much of all the things that my father made for my son when he was small.

As knitmd says he got far more fun out of his grandads home made things than anything we ever bought for him.

Keep up your work you will make little people very happy when they get gifts like these.

What a wonderful garage, and it looks beautifully made. I'm sure your grandson will treasure it. Wouldn't it be wonderful if he kept it to pass onto his son? (or another family member's?).

Hope your treatment is continuing well. I often think about you, and send good thoughts. (Hope it's OK for a stranger to say that, but, well, I sort-of know your wife...)
